About us
Justin Pickler, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief Boatswain’s Mate with extensive experience in Aids to Navigation (ATON), multi-mission operations, training, and Command leadership, culminating in his certification and service as Officer in Charge of Coast Guard Station Georgetown, South Carolina, where he oversaw maritime safety and security for the northern sector of District Seven.
Aaron Kato, a general contractor with more than 25 years of experience in the maritime and civil construction industry and owner of OTAK Group, who has successfully delivered numerous federal, state, and local government contracts.
Together, with additional family members, they have formed Black Hull Maritime, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing specialized maritime services, including ATON support, waterway maintenance, facility services, and marine construction, to enhance waterway security and ensure safe navigation throughout the inland waters of the United States.
