Black Hull Maritime LLC (BHM) provides specialized maritime infrastructure, Aids to Navigation (ATON), and marine construction support services for federal agencies, port authorities, and government contractors. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with Coast Guard leadership experience, the company is built to support navigation safety, waterway infrastructure, and marine operations in both CONUS and OCONUS environments.

Black Hull Maritime is strategically teamed with industry partners such as Otak Group, Inc., a proven federal prime contractor with extensive experience delivering design-build, civil, marine, and building construction projects across the United States. This partnership allows Black Hull Maritime and its teaming partners to deliver comprehensive, mission-ready solutions for complex federal projects from initial design through construction, installation, and operational support across a global AOR.

The team’s experience spans marine construction, inland and coastal waterway operations, civil infrastructure, and vertical construction. The primary Teams background includes more than 25 years of experience in design-build and federal construction, allowing them to successfully execute complex, multi-disciplinary projects while maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Federal Agency Support

Black Hull Maritime and its teaming partners are positioned to support a wide range of federal agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), NAVFAC Southeast, the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Coast Guard. Additional experience and capability extend to the National Park Service, NOAA, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, the General Services Administration, and multiple branches of the U.S. military including the Navy, Army, Air Force, and Space Force, as well as  agencies such as U.S. Border Patrol and other Federal Agency’s.

Design-Build and Construction Expertise

Through its teaming structure, Black Hull Maritime offers full design-build capability, ensuring that projects are executed under a unified vision from concept through completion. This approach reduces risk, improves communication, and enhances schedule and cost performance.

Capabilities include civil infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and utilities; marine construction including ports, harbors, and waterfront structures; and building construction ranging from small-scale facilities to complex structures such as hospitals. The team also brings experience in historical renovation, combining preservation techniques with modern construction practices.

Maritime and ATON Specialization

Black Hull Maritime provides focused expertise in navigation safety infrastructure, including the installation, servicing, and deployment of both fixed and floating ATON systems. This includes buoy systems, moorings, AIS ATON, navigation platforms, and inland waterway support operations.
This specialization is particularly relevant to agencies responsible for maintaining safe and navigable waterways, especially in coastal and inland environments throughout the Southeast United States.
